Energy Efficient: Helps reduce or conserve energy use as a result of either efficient design or manufacturing. The mill that makes Ecojot paper uses biogas, drastically reducing CO2 output. Water is recycled many times over at the mill (18 times!) before it is cleaned and released back into the environment.

Ethically Made: Adheres to one or more commonly held fair trade principles (though not certified): fair wages, safe and healthy conditions and equal employment opportunities Ecojot products are made in a sweatshop free environment.

Recycle: Made in whole, or in part, from recycled ingredients and/or with recyclable materials. Ecojot uses 100% post-consumer recycled paper and recycled labels. The wire used for these books has some recyclable content in it and is an uncoated metal that will naturally biodegrade and can be recycled.

Forest Friendly: Responsible choice for forests and those who rely on them. No new trees were felled for these notepads!

Natural: Made with non-toxic ingredients safe for your health and for the environment. Ecojot uses a chlorine-free bleaching process, vegetable-based inks and glues and biodegradable packaging. These products provide a viable reuse of considerable paper waste. All Ecojot waste is recycled and usable scrap is donated to local schools.
