A 20 year conditional warranty applies to our Natural Rubber mattresses. Our warranty is provides 10 years of full value coverage and 10 years of prorated coverage. This means that after ten years, your mattress warranty loses half of it's value and each year, it is worth 5% less until the 20 years are over.
A proper slat foundation must be used, with slats approximately 2"-2.5" apart and the width of each slat approximately 2.5"-4.5" wide (3" is ideal).
If a defect that is covered by the warranty is discovered during the period of the warranty, Grassroots will repair or replace (at our option) the defective item within a reasonable period of time.
We reserve the right to refuse service and invalidate this warranty when, upon inspection, the sleep set is found to be in an unsanitary condition, or when the product failure is due to cause other than defective workmanship or materials.
Grassroots does not warrant that this product is suitable for any person’s medical condition.
In order for the warranty to be valid, you must:
- Be the original purchaser
- Provide a copy of the original proof of purchase from Grassroots
- Provide the law label from the product
The warranty includes:
Mattresses:
- Stitches pulled out of the quilting
- Body indentations of 1"-5" or greater
- Excessively lumpy feeling
Sagging: your mattress must be continuously supported by a matching foundation, or equivalent, an appropriate frame (the frame should include a center support with at least 5 legs or 5 hardwood cross-slats for queen and king sets. If wood legs are used, there must be 4 legs per foundation).
Foundations:
- Splits in the wood frame
- Squeaks, rattles, or noises
- Loose or broken plastic pieces
- Compression of modules
- Unstapling of modules
Items not covered: stains, soils or burns, damage caused by moving, transportation costs, comfort preference, sheet fit, damage due to abuse, structural damage due to improper bed frame andother possibilities not mentioned on this warranty.
