We are aware of issues regarding palm oil. We asked Soap Works about where they source it from. Their supplier said that they purchase all of their palm oil from Fuji Oil. Below is a statement from Fuji regarding the sustainability of their products:

Membership in the RSPO covers all stakeholders in palm from, from the plantation owners to end consumers to NGO's. We advise all of our customers which are concerned with the sustainability of palm to join the RSPO.
