HOW DO I KEEP MY WATCH CLEAN?

For unvarnished wood, mix two tsps each of olive oil and lemon juice and apply a small amount to a soft cotton cloth. Wring the cloth to spread the mixture further into the material and apply to the furniture using wide strokes. This helps distribute the oil evenly. If at any time your watch looks lighter or starts to change in appearance, we recommend that you apply a natural coating such as beeswax, lip balm, butcher block oil or walnut oil. Regular application can help to protect it against damage and improve the durability of the wood and help maintain the moisture balance to prevent drying or cracking.

IS WeWOOD WATER RESISTANT?

No, but you can consider it splash-proof ;) It does just fine in the kitchen, even on the beach, but please don't take WeWOOD swimming! Like any natural wood, the wood slightly expands when getting wet, and this makes the flexibility of the links less supple. Generally, the wood fully recovers when dry.

CAN I REPLACE THE BATTERY?

Yes, you can replace the battery at any jewelry or watch shop.

WHAT ABOUT ALLERGIES?

Please be informed that WeWood products are made using 100% natural wood, without any toxic chemicals to treat or protect them. There are very few people who might experience an allergic reaction to woods. We suggest that while you are wearing the watch within the first few weeks, you should monitor your skin. In the remote possibility that you begin to experience any discomfort on your wrist or any kind of itch or rash, please stop wearing the watch immediately and visit your doctor.
