GP Recyko+ is a new generation rechargeable battery which is pre-charged and ready to use upon purchase. After use, GP Recyko+ can be recharged with the GP Solar Charger.
Precautions:
- Use a damp cloth the clean the charger. Do not immerse in water
- Charging performance may be affected by extreme temperatures
- Do not scratch the solar panel
- Do not put near fire
- Do not wet, incinerate or disassemble the charger and batteries
- Charge only in well ventilated areas (to prevent batteries overheating)
Can GP Solar drain my batteries at night?
No. GP Solar has a built-in diode for reverse current protection.
Can my GP Solar be left outdoors all the time, even when raining?
No. It cannot be left out in wet, rainy or snow conditions.
What happens if I place the batteries in reverse polarity?
No charging will occur.
How can I know the batteries are charging?
The Red LEF will light up, which indicates that your unit is receiving day light exposure. If it is not lit, it may mean that you are not exposing the unit to enough daylight. Please position the solar panels to maximise their exposure to the sun.
How long will it take to charge my batteries?Can I charge AA and AAA batteries at the same time?
No. When charging your batteries with GP Solar, please make sure they are all of the same type, size and capacity.
