These soap flakes are made from 100% natural ingredients from local suppliers. Use them as a laundry soap with the recipe below. They also make an effective pet wash, as soap flakes won't strip the natural oils from the hair or irritate the skin.

Available Size: 1.25 kg / 2.75 lbs

• 250 mL (1 cup) soap flakes(forces dirt out)
• 125 mL (.5 cup) washing soda* (cuts greases and softens water)
• 125 mL (.5 cup) borax (kills germs and whitens)

Mix ingredients together and stir well.

For regular loads: Measure .5 cup of mixture and add to cold water in your washing machine. You can also add 4-5 drops of your favourite essential oil to the wash water. Add clothes and wash, as per machine instructions, rinsing with cold water. Presoak heavily soiled items in warm water with .5 cup washing soda for 30 minutes. Rub soiled areas with moistened soap flakes.

* For very hard water, add more washing soda.
